About me

You'll almost always find me with a dog in my lap.

I've been working professionally in design, marketing, and advertising since 2008. I've worked as a print designer, copywriter, web designer, art director, project manager, and email marketing strategist, designer, and developer. I have both in-house and agency experience, as well as experience running my own business.

When I'm not at my office, I'm outside gardening or helping a homeless dog find their forever home.

Experience

Noble Intent Studio

2011 - Present

Owner, Designer

I started freelancing in 2011, and in 2012 started Kovalent, LLC as a part-time venture with my partner Cris. In 2016 we changed our name and business structure to Noble Intent Studio, Inc., and I transitioned to managing our business full-time.

We believe in design as a tool to solve problems, and every design decision we make is intentional in finding solutions. We specialize in website design and development, email marketing, and visual brand identity creation.

Kensington Talmadge Business Association

Board Member: Vice President

After creating a new website for KTBA in 2015, I was brought on as a board member and help provide on-going support for the website and email marketing as well as work with the other board members to direct the strategy of the organization, plan events, and do new member outreach.

AIGA San Diego

2016 - 2018

Board Member: Website Director

As the Website Director for the San Diego chapter of AIGA, I maintained the AIGA San Diego website on an ongoing basis by posting events, updating and creating pages and content, and advised on the strategic direction of the website. During my tenure, I implemented a complete redesign of the home page that departed from the standard theme passed down to each local chapter from AIGA National to better serve the needs of our local chapter.
